Industry development overview

Material handling refers to the activities that are carried out in the same place, with the main goal of changing the storage status and spatial location of materials. Material handling directly affects the efficiency of production, transportation and storage. Material handling machinery and equipment refers to the general term of machinery and equipment for lifting, loading and unloading, handling, conveying, stacking, storage and other operations within the enterprise.

According to the structural characteristics, application fields and functions, material handling equipment can be divided into six categories: light and small lifting equipment, crane, special production vehicle, continuous handling equipment, elevator, escalator and elevator, and other material handling equipment. According to different operation activities, it can be divided into horizontal or inclined handling equipment, vertical handling or lifting equipment.
